We had some leftover Japanese Waves removable wallpaper, and have a 2nd birthday party coming up - so we thought it might be fun to try our hand at making our own DIY party hats! You will love how easy this DIY craft is simply by repurposing peel and stick wallpaper - and it instantly adds an element of colorful delight to any birthday party.
We found a template on Pinterest for party hats (there are hundreds like this one linked - just search “party hats”). Simply cut it out, add a little bit of hot glue gun, pop on some tissue garland and pom poms and voila, you're done. Super easy, super cute, and we loved we didn’t waste any wallpaper!
Below are the DIY party hat instructions set out in a super simple step format.
- Add ons like tissue garlands and pom poms
Steps:
1). Cut wallpaper into a tall triangle shape (or use template linked above)
2). Shape the cut wallpaper into a cone and hot glue gun where the wallpaper meets
3). Add cute accessories like pompoms and garlands. And party!
